ALL SHAPES AND SIZES…
Whether you are looking for a replacement or are planning a new build, you want the end result to be right for you. Our roof can be constructed in any of the typical conservatory shapes (Victorian, Edwardian, Lean-to, Gable, Combination), as shown below. Thanks to the flexibility in design offered by a timber solution, you can opt to have a completely bespoke room, with an Icotherm roof to match.
Our clad-over roof is the most popular choice to bring additional insulation, privacy and comfort to your conservatory. Making the most of the existing roof structure we remove all glass or polycarbonate and then strengthen the original beams with timber.
For the external of the conservatory we will lay 18mm OSB boards with a breathable membrane attached. Your choice of tiles are then placed on the boards, we have a wide range of tiles available to match the look of your home and enhance the overall appearance of the conservatory.
The internal of the new roof is insulated with high quality 50mm kingspan insulation to maintain a comfortable temperature in your conservatory all year round. We fix the installation in with batons every 600mm to allow new plasterboard to be fitted easily.
It is at this point in the process any wiring is completed for your desired light fittings. To complete the internal of your new room, we will plaster and skim the roof leaving a blank canvas ready to make your conservatory your own!
Fitting a thermally efficient Icotherm replacement conservatory roof turns an old conservatory into a practical home extension. This lightweight conservatory roof replacement system is a prefabricated modular roof system with made-tomeasure factory-built pods which simply piece together.
Icotherm roofs are building regulation compliant due to the quick and easy installation techniques they can be secure and watertight within three hours. The pods are constructed from insulated structural timber using SIPs technology which ensures that the roof is fully ventilated and prevents condensation. The thermally efficient Icotherm roof system keeps the heat in during the cold months and helps the room cool in the summer.
The internal ceiling can be traditional plaster finish, or you can choose from a wide range of cladding options. Velux roof windows can be fitted to provide extra day light and ventilation. The Icotherm roof is a fantastic way to transform your old polycarbonate or glass conservatory roof into a desirable room all year round.
Timbalite is an innovative alternative to aluminium conservatory roofing. The system is lightweight, durable and easy to install, an ideal replacement roof for existing conservatories.

It meets all current Building Regulation requirements for structural performance and has an unrivaled insulation U-Value of just 0.13. The roof exterior can be finished in either light weight Tapco Slates or Metrotiles. Our lean-to roofs are 1st stripped down to just the frame and door of your conservatory, then we joist the roof with 6, 2 timber struts.
On top we lay 18mm osb boards with a breathable membrane, underneath we slot in 50mm or 100mm kingspan insulation.
